"Promising Contracts"

I am loving something about the idea of “contracts” and “promises” after “wandering" through the song "Promises" by NERO this morning…Unless you’re a lawyer, those concepts might seem super dry without a different lens of interpretation. Imagine there is a “spiritual/non-physical equivalent” to the process that our society’s lawyers actually engage in for earthly matters, as there seems to be such a metaphoric equivalent for ALL jobs/roles we “imitate” in form. What could such a role “boil down” to then?

I see a view of a “soul contract,” through which we “sign on” to experience a certain basic “tale” that will facilitate the “genre” of lessons themed towards our most optimal growth at the time. Essentially, we make a promise to ourselves and All Being to “play our part” in some way that will benefit both ourselves individually and the whole collectively. Part of this larger contractual umbrella of our overall “aim” may also include smaller “contracts” that pertain to interpersonal relationships, encounters, orientations, and exchanges that are more uniquely specific. Fascinatingly, these smaller “contracts” are woven in so as to correlate with the expanded “aim” of the larger “contract’s” umbrella in the best way possible.

These “contracts” are all akin to the “balance” of “accounting” pertaining to “karma.” They represent the latest “swing” of cause to effect, where the “contract” is our intrinsically agreed upon, and necessary, impetus to harmonically “surrender” to the lessons and experiences required (in some form) for our learning.

Now, there are sometimes a variety of ways that a “karmic soul contract” can be “surrendered” into for “due” resolution, and it seems like conscious awareness, attunement, and intent are considered when utilizing “free will” to determine the “shape” of the experience. Lessons can be “eaten” the “hard” way or the “easy” way so to speak, with regards to how much “suffering” is endured in the process. (Again, it reflects conscious attunement as to how the “dealings” are experienced.)

Using “free will” to block or avoid making “payment” on a “soul contract” only exacerbates the “debt” because it gets “pushed” against and polarized through unacceptance. Similarly, just as the “transaction” is not made in an act of “surrender” (with gratitude, appreciation, allowance, etc.) when it is avoided, it also can be “tainted” when infused with “retaliation” or “personal retribution” or “bitterness” about the exchange, all of which would indicate that we’ve lost a larger sight of what it’s all “for” in a bigger way. (Just like the Jedi Force, you can only defend, never attack. “Dancing” through the ordeals with grace and poise is the only way to make it to the end of the song in peace. Inserting more agitation, irritation, or inflammation only insures an “extension” of those qualities to be echoed in necessary return…)

Lately, I am imagining a role (that I may find myself “stepping into” at some time) where one acts as a “spiritual lawyer” to both ensure that “contracts” are understood and lovingly navigated, while simultaneously investigating them for areas that could be actively transformed by creating new angles for interpretation that help ensure their highest possible expression. The first task to that entails understanding the basis of the “contract,” and understanding how its “design” is intended to facilitate a certain “brand” of experience, in what possible ways, why, and how it’s all anchored to a core of love. The second “service” involves exploring the symbolism of the “contract” for ways that the “bottom lines” can still be reached, but in potentially smoother ways by eliminating resistances and transforming perspective by working the “contractual concepts” in more uplifted ways.

Astrologically, I “see” for myself how the concepts of working with spiritual law for its highest harmonic expression to be mastered and attained can be “extracted” through collaboration of Libra (Venus, Uranus, Saturn), Sagittarius (Jupiter, Earth, Mars), and Capricorn (Saturn and Venus), while the concepts of creative transformation can be transmitted through Leo (Sun—veiling Uranus and Neptune) and Scorpio (Pluto, Mars, Mercury)….Overlapping symbols point to different levels of their importance, and the configurations of these archetypes working together can be arranged in various ways that cascade like a waterfall from one area to another.

See the past and all that’s done. See the future and all that’s striving to be. Balance the best of both worlds in the present to build the bridge from where you’ve been to where you’re going. And always “read” in between the lines…;)
